DMCA Policy

ÖZdemir Wiki is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and provide a clear process for copyright owners who believe that content on our site infringes upon their rights, as well as for users who believe their content has been wrongfully removed.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content on ÖZdemir Wiki infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the infringing material: A description of the material that you claim is infringing and its location on the ÖZdemir Wiki, sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the URL(s) of the specific page(s) containing the material).
  3. Contact Information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Statement of Good Faith Belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Signature: An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification as a result of a DMCA takedown notice, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Copyright Agent. Your counter-notification must include the following:

  • Identification of the removed material: Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • Statement of Good Faith Belief: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your Contact Information: Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which ÖZdemir Wiki may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  • Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
